In Italy the Romagna Riviera is the symbol of fun, parks where you can spend whole days with your children, luxury hotels and campsites, trendy beaches where you can relax in the sun and then dance at sunset barefoot on the sand with the salt still on the skin, discos where to pull until dawn where it is not difficult to find famous people next to you who have this as one of their favorite destinations. Traditionally, the season here begins with the Easter weekend, when all the activities in the area shake off the dust of a long winter of lethargy and fill the streets with people and music. This year, due to the coronavirus emergency and the related restrictions, everything remained motionless, lowered shutters, barred doors and windows, abandoned beaches. Walking through the deserted streets, perhaps for the first time in this period, you can still hear, in a surreal silence, the sound of the sea.
